I thought being 17 would feel different, I don't really know why I just....somehow thought something would change. As of now the only thing that has changes is that I never get to relax anymore, or so it seems. Life has been a balance of school and studying for the ACT and it sucks. Now all I'm waiting for is the score to come out and it feels worse than actually taking the test... I'm worried I guess, kind of hoping that once this is over things can go back to the way they were.

The Maze Runner

It was really good (Not comparing it to the book). I loved it and truthfully I only watched it for my hubby Dylan. It sucked every time he was getting into trouble which seemed to be every 5 seconds because I was like "no" and cringing. It hurt me as much as it hurt him. Anyways I don't want to give the ending away so I'll just say that it really surprised me I guess I wasn't expecting it to come out like that.

Memories

We all have memories that are made because of the everyday things we experience. We choose to live the life we live. Along with those choices follow memories.  And memories, no matter how stupid, silly, or sad, are important. 

Advice

*This is advice my AP World History teacher gave me about Life and I just found it so great I had to share it!*

Plan for the future, enjoy the present, and learn from the past. Don’t hold on to the negativity, savor the good and learn from your mistakes. Enjoy simple pleasures and make time for true friends. Don’t give so much of yourself that you have nothing left. Treasure your time, not your things…

Heroes

Heroes are people who open your eyes to reality. Who we look up to because they have shown us something we never thought possible, or never believed we could have accomplished. We choose our heroes because they have impacted our lived in such a big way that on their own they have changed us. They have allowed us to grow and change and see things for what they truly are.

What is Love?

Love...
a four lettered four no one can seem to define,
A feeling that can consume and destroy us
A reminder of something we can never have
An every day remembrance of something beautiful

Distance seems to either kill it or make it stronger
Touch seems to strengthen it
Some say its magical others poison
Some say its beautiful others tragic

Why do we want it then?
Just to feel an inch of that happiness?
What is love then to you?
Truthfully I don't know, but if anything I'd like to enjoy the beautiful for as long as I can before it becomes tragic...
